The headline says it all--it is Midwest Guest's third anniversary today.
It's interesting to look at my first blog post from August 1, 2008, and to see how closely I've managed to stay with my stated vision for this blog. I always wanted to write about regional travel in the Midwest, even long before I began blogging, and I'm still far from exhausting the subject three years later.
Tim's brother-in-law was among the first people to offer me a suggestion via the comments on that initial post, and if you check out last Tuesday's post, you'll see that we recently did get to PNC Park in Pittsburgh to catch a Pirates' baseball game.
Thanks for the suggestion, Michael.
Thanks to everyone for the encouragement and suggestions over these past three years.
Now, where shall I think about going next?

Great accomplishment! Come to Columbus, Indiana and we can do the architecture tour together... I think you'd love it and I haven't yet done it myself!
