Five Must-Camp Places in Michigan This Summer-I'll be the first to admit that I've never been much of a camper, although I do remember some camping trips I took as a kid. Fortunately Shalee loves taking her tent and visiting some of the more remote and quiet places around Michigan. Check out a few of her favorite getaways at the Shalee Wanders blog. We did Les Cheneaux Islands at a B & B, so I do hope Shalee makes that trip soon...It's a beautiful and quiet place in the eastern .U.P., and I'm sure she'll have a great story to post when she does visit!

Planning a Legendary North Dakota Road Trip-This is the type of trip Tim and I were in the process of planning several years ago before he got really ill and we had to postpone it. Luckily for us, Francesca and her family are planning their own trip to North Dakota's legendary landscape later this year. We'll be following along as they plan, and take, this trip! We particularly loved visiting the Theodore Roosevelt National Park in the state and especially look forward to reading about their adventures there.
A Couples Weekend Getaway to Chicago with Greyhound-Amanda made a quick road trip to Chicago, leaving the driving to Greyhound, finding it a quick, stress-free and affordable alternative. She took in a couple of our Chicago favorites that included the architectural tour on the Chicago River and an interior architectural tour that included one of our favorite buildings in the City, the Chicago Cultural Center!.
