Regular readers of Midwest Guest know that I write the vast majority of the stories appearing on Midwest Guest, with the occasional assist from Tim, but the next couple of months bring something a little different to Midwest Guest.
Do you have a story to tell and want to share it with my audience?
I'm asking some of my blogging friends if they would like to write a story, or send me a few images, depicting travel or culture in the Midwest and share it here.
An illness in my family means my time to travel and write is severely limited for the next couple of months, so I'm looking at this as a great opportunity to share the voices of different writers here with readers over the coming weeks.
The list of story suggestions I've already received from my blogging buddies sound great, and it's a great opportunity to share a lot of stories about locations or subjects that I've not yet covered or see a familiar location in a different way. I can't wait to read the stories, and I hope you will enjoy reading them and discover some Midwest writers you'll continue to enjoy at their own blogs, too.
Do you have a great Midwest-related story that you'd like to share with Midwest Guest readers?
I'm open to ideas for more guest posts this spring and summer, so drop me a line @midwestguest on Twitter, contact me through my Facebook page or via email to dominique (at) practicalprose.com
Thanks to Thaleia Mahar for posting this update with more details about the types of posts I'm looking for and how to submit them to Midwest Guest.
Be sure to check out Thaleia's Something 2 Offer blog while you're at it as well.
