There is a lot to discover at Canton's McKinley Museum and Monument, including the addition of the Fascination Station as part of the museum's hands-on science center known, appropriately enough, as Discover World!
The Fascination Station debuted on February 18 as part of the museum's Presidents' Day celebration and features some cool new interactive exhibits.
While the McKinley Museum draws 50,000 visitors annually, the science center draws as many as 20,000 visitors each year for class field trips alone. The kids we saw during our visit seemed particularly excited about the hands-on exhibits, so I bet they'll love the newest additions.
Check out my latest story at the Ohio Tourism Division's Discovering Ohio blog to learn more about the museum and see if you think you'll be up to the challenge of climbing the steps to the McKinley Monument when it opens for the season later this spring!
Thanks to the Canton-Stark County Convention & Visitors Bureau for their assistance with planning our visit to Canton and arranging for comped media passes to the museum.
