This is an awesome article about the cemetary and the history of it coming into being!
My Father in law was a veteran and passed away Oct 3rd 2012 and is buried in this cemetary. The service that he had was amazing and included a 21 gun salute. We are happy and thankful that he has such a beautiful resting place.

Thanks for stopping by! There were several committal services going on the day we visited with military guards and flag ceremonies. Very dignified and serene surroundings.

My family was so happy to have a beautiful cemetary as a final resting place for my father in-law who passed away April 24, 2014. The grounds just take your breath away. We did not have to worry about anything. I am so thankful that our country has provided a place for those who has served in the military.

Thanks for stopping by, Doris! You're right, the grounds here are beautiful. I first discovered this place when a friend looking for a place for her father mentioned it to me. We made the drive up to Holly to check it out so I could take some photos and share the information here.

Thanks for stopping by, Gerald. I'm glad you found some degree of comfort here...I know several folks who are here...or planning to be here as a final resting place. The grounds and how the cemetery staff handled things impressed us, and we're glad to see that they are kind and continue to help people through difficult times.
