It's often fun taking photos from an unusual or unexpected angle.
The first photo I took of this dessert plate-sized fungi from my eye level make it appear to be placidly sitting on the ground in metro Detroit's Kensington Metropark.
The image taken below the fungi makes it look a bit like a fairy house with a little out building sitting high atop a steep hill to me.
It's all a matter of perspective.

What a clever idea and nice thought for the day. Thanks!

Wow what a difference the change of view makes. That last photo is just asking for someone to photoshop in a little wooden door and a couple of fairies or smurfs.

It does seem like a fun idea, doesn't it?
I sure get some funny looks when I try to take photos from up under something, but the results are often worth it!
