I've always wanted to visit the Toledo Harbor Lighthouse, which sits five miles north of the Lake Erie shore at Maumee Bay State Park. I've written about the lighthouse in the past and shared pictures of its original Fresnel lens on display at the Maumee Bay State Park lodge, but I recently had to opportunity to take a boat trip out to the lighthouse to take a closer look at it.

Check out my latest story at the Ohio Tourism Division's Discovering Ohio blog, A close-up view of the Toledo Harbor Lighthouse, to see a few of the images I made during that trip.
I'll also be sharing some more images of the Toledo Harbor Lighthouse and the defunct Turtle Island Lighthouse here at Midwest Guest later this fall.
