We love visiting northwestern Michigan, and the city of Frankfort is one of our regular stops when we're traveling along Lake Michigan.
Frankfort is the quintessential touristy port town, complete with a cute independent bookstore, a vintage 1920s movie theater, and a few classic Victorian-style houses like the one pictured here that is now an inn and restaurant.
Be sure to check out Jessie Voigts' guest post from earlier this week about The Fusion restaurant in Frankfort and my prior posts about Frankfort's lighthouses and bicycling the Betsie Valley Trail between the towns of Frankfort and Beulah.
Thanks to Debbie Dubrow of Delicious Baby for creating and coordinating Photo Friday to link travel photos and blog posts across the Web.
