It always feels a bit strange seeing things you remember from your childhood in a museum, but we had fun checking out this exhibit about life in the 1960s at the William McKinley Presidential Library and Museum in Canton, Ohio.
I remember walking down to the neighborhood party store to buy my Beatles trading cards (complete with the stale stick of bubble gum that came with the wax paper-wrapped, five-card packets), and wishing I was old enough to wear some of the colorful clothes like the outfits pictured here.
I'll be posting more stories in coming months about our recent visit to the museum and other attractions in the Canton-Stark area, but I didn't want to miss this chance to remind readers that the "Celebrating the Sixties" exhibit only runs through June 5.
Thanks to Debbie Dubrow of Delicious Baby for creating and coordinating Photo Friday to link travel photos and blog posts across the Web.
Thanks to the Canton-Stark County Convention & Visitors Bureau for their assistance with planning our recent visit to Canton and arranging for comped media passes to the museum.

Oh dear, I feel a little bit old. I remember a lot of that stuff!

I know what you mean - seeing things from my childhood in a museum... very odd.
