I look forward to settling down in front of the television with a little breakfast and watching the holiday parades. Hopefully I'll spot my favorite Muppet, Grover, as I did several Thanksgivings ago when watching the televised parades.
We're not big football fans (we live in the Detroit area--'nuff said!), so we'll look forward to watching some Plymouth Whalers hockey on Saturday.
Thanksgiving is always a little bittersweet because it pretty much signals the end of autumn and a lot of the beautiful fresh veggies at the farmers markets--but it's always the real harbinger of the winter holiday season for me as well.
