Carolina

It looks like it would be good hiking around there. Cool pictures.

You know, I think South Dakota gets a bad rap, but it is a beautiful state. I've been there many times on the drive between MN and WY, and I've always enjoyed it.

Gorgeous photos!
Happy St. Valentine's Day!

Wow, your pictures always make me rethink what it would be like to visit the Midwest

Carolina-I wish we'd had more time here to explore trails. It's somewhere we plan to return as soon as we can do so.

Angela-Happy Valentines Day to you, too! We're north right now...a little getaway that was our trip to ourselves for the holiday.
South Dakota and North Dakota were definitely pleasant surprises when we drove through. We didn't plan much time in those two states, but left with the feeling that we want to plan an entire trip just doing the Dakotas.

Jessie-It was such a perfect day for taking photos. These photos of the Needles and my Mount Rushmore pix had the beautiful and clear blue skies. If only every day was as perfect for photo taking!

Debbie-Think nice thoughts about the Midwest. We have a lot of great places here, and you should definitely visit...several times!
