Baseball season draws to a close, and this cat seems a little forlorn as he looks at an empty baseball diamond in Franklin, Michigan.

I grabbed this shot with my trusty little Canon point-and-shoot camera on the way home from a recent visit to Franklin’s Cider Mill.

It looks like he's waiting for someone to go out to the field so he can jump into the game.

You're right, the cat does look a little lonely. But, I bet there are kids who run up to him excitedly every time they visit this playfield whether it's baseball season or not.
