Beautiful pictures. I almost forgot what snow looks like, since we don't get any in this part of Texas!

Brrrr...

Dominique King

Sarah-We don't get a lot of snow in the Detroit area, either. That's why I've been on a "winter Up North" cycle recently...enjoying a little virtual snow myself!

Amy @ The Q Family

Those are very interesting pictures! I especially love the last picture.

Dominique King

Amy-I loved the greenish color in that photo as well. Tim always wonders what I'm taking a photo of when I'm aiming my camera at the ground

jessiev

gorgeous, dominique! i love manistee - we have a cottage near there, and my dad grew up in manistee. excellent shots, indeed!

David

Great stuff. You see so many travel pics of sun and sand that it's refreshing to see your things. Thanks.

Dominique King

Jessie-Lucky you with a cottage near the area. Our dream is to have a place up that way one of these eons.

David-Sun and sand can be fun, but I think the winterscapes have their own unique beauty. Glad you liked these photos :)

Abi from Inside the Travel Lab

That top photo is my favourite - it just draws your eyes through the whole picture. Beautiful.

Dominique King

Abi-Thanks! I loved the shapes and lines I saw at the beach that day.

Dominique King

Thanks...we're still waiting for snow in the Detroit area...
